Decorated to give a better integrated understanding of Daegu's history and culture, the Folk History Hall opened in 1997 to collect 3400 relics related to folk history and amongst them, 500 pieces are being exhibited in the 2 exhibition halls to exhibit and introduce the flow of Daegu's history and life culture as well as the contents related to Gyeongsang-Gamyeong.

Poetry Stone of LEE Sang-hwa

As the nation's first tombstone of the literary circles, the 'LEE Sang-hwa tombstone' was established inside the Dalsung Park where the poets KIM So-un, LEE Yoon-soo and KU Sang became the center in 1948.

Missing Street(Sewing Street)

Located between the former SC Cheil Bank and Kun-young Cargo, the street was a ruined alleyway between the Seomun Market and Dalsung Park in the 1970s. It was operated by few businessmen who moved their businesses to this street due to its low geographical features and low rent. Businesses began to gather since the 1980s and accomplished its peak along with the boom of textiles in the 1980s and 1990s. At the present time, about 40 stores are open and the history of all sewing machines can be seen at a single glance.

CHOI Jae-woo Statue

In Dalsung Park, there is a statue of CHOI Jae-woo, the founder of Donghak with the thought that 'humans are the sky.' The statue stands pointing the sky with his left hand and the ground with his right hand. Daegu is the place of his martyr where he was executed.
